PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Iron Chancellor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Booze Hound (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chancellor comes into the arena with Amon Tobin / El Cargo blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Booze Hound!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Chris Downing and Daniel Franklin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hound tries to score a power double leg takedown but Chancellor sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Hound somewhat.
Chancellor lands with a nice body punch.

Hound feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Hound controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Hound trying to control but Chancellor is working from the bottom.
Hound is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Hound is looking to work some ground and pound but Chancellor has wrist control.

Chancellor manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Hound manages to get himself to full guard.
Chancellor is pushing down on Hound's leg trying to pass to half guard. Hound is fighting to maintain full guard but Chancellor has managed to sneak the leg through.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Chancellor passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Hound!
Chancellor wants to take Hound's back but he can't do it this time.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Hound looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back!

Chancellor is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Chancellor's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Chancellor has the hooks in. Hound is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Iron Chancellor dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Hound rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Chancellor moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Hound dives in and grabs Chancellor's left leg, looking for a takedown. Chancellor pushes down on Hound's head and hops out.

Hound shoots in for a takedown but Chancellor shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Hound misses with a jab to the body
and Chancellor connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Hound throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
No luck for Hound with that takedown attempt.
Iron Chancellor has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Booze Hound.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Chancellor.

Chancellor cracks Hound with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Chancellor has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Hound to stand back up!

Hound is rocked!

It looks like Booze Hound has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Chancellor lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Hound falls backwards - clearly groggy! Chancellor dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
