Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Boot Head (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Godric Jensen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jensen lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Jensen throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Head throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Head misses with a head kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jensen checks the leg kick nicely there.

Jensen checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Head misses with a low kick as Jensen jumps back.
Head throws a head kick that Jensen semi-blocks.
Jensen takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Head tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Jensen has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Head.

Head throws a sloppy head kick and Jensen moves out of range easily.
Head lands a leg kick that knocks Jensen off balance momentarily.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Head cracks the inside of Jensen's front leg.

and Head counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Jensen is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Boot Head seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Jensen fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Head throws a solid leg kick but Jensen takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Head.

Head lands a leg kick that knocks Jensen off balance momentarily.

Head plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Head throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.

Head lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Head finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Head misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Head motions for Jensen to come forward. Head throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Head will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Jensen throws a right and a left that both miss.
Head lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Jensen punishes Head's body with a nice straight punch.

Head moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Head misses with a head kick.

Head does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Nice defenses there by Head.
Head throws a head kick that half lands.
Godric Jensen has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Jensen throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Head feints and then cracks Jensen's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Jensen down.
Jensen throws a lazy uppercut
and Head counters with a low kick, right behind Jensen 's knee.
Jensen changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Jensen has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Head.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Jensen takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

And that's the end of the fight!
Boot Head showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Head has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
