A fine choice. Lyoto Tachia has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with King Tut's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tut gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Tachia counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Tachia.
Tut has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Tachia avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Tachia escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Tachia tries to close the distance and clinch up but Tut swats him away and circles back towards the center.

King Tut seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tut uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Tachia.

Lyoto Tachia is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Tachia is pushing Tut up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Tut tries to score a body lock takedown but Tachia shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

The fighters circle, before Tachia throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Tut's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Tachia lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
