Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Omar Little (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lawl Ihitu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ihitu gets the takedown into side control.
Ihitu really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Little. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Little manages to work his way to half guard, despite Ihitu's best efforts.
Little tries to roll over but Ihitu keeps him under control.

Little is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Ihitu pulls his head out easily.
Ihitu tries to pass to full mount but Little defends it.
The fighters are battling for position here. Little manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Little keeping busy on the bottom but Ihitu has passed one foot through into half guard.
Little tries to kick Ihitu off but Ihitu keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Ihitu stands up out of the half guard.
Little will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Ihitu misses with a double jab.
Little falls off balance throwing a combination
and Ihitu counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Ihitu looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Little!
Ihitu with shots to the head and body - Little looks very uncomfortable down there.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Ihitu lands a big elbow.
Little sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Little is breathing heavily.

Ihitu stands up from half guard.

Ihitu shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Ihitu showed some decent athleticism there.
Little makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Little.
Ihitu wanted to stand there but Little had control of the position.
Ihitu slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Little is trying to control the position but Ihitu postures up.
Little wants to stand up but Ihitu is controlling him.

Ihitu wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Little's closed guard. He's half up but Little has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Little pivots and extends the arm, Ihitu falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Little! Well done that man!
