Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Creed Bratton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Optimus Prime (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bratton comes into the arena with The Best Of Creed blaring out of the sound system. Prime has chosen Metalingus by Alter Bridge as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Prime is defended easily by Bratton.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Bratton looking for a takedown.
Prime goes for a takedown attempt but Bratton pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Nice defenses there by Bratton.
Bratton displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Prime.
Creed Bratton has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Optimus Prime.
Bratton gets tackled into the cage by Prime. Prime maintains the clinch.

Bratton is trying to drag Prime to the mat but Prime just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Prime drops down looking for an ankle pick but Bratton pulls his leg out and moves away.
Prime leaves Bratton with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Optimus Prime seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

A big left from Prime misses.
Bratton shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Prime as he avoids it easily.
Bratton takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Prime fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Bratton manages to avoid it.
Bratton gets tackled into the cage by Prime. Prime maintains the clinch.
Prime changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Bratton fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Prime fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Bratton shoots for a takedown but Prime saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Prime throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Bratton tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Prime is in Bratton's guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Bratton wants to sweep but no luck.
Bratton is working hard here to advance position.
Prime with a flurry of punches that miss.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Bratton working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Prime doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Prime manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Prime changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Prime throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Prime closes this distance looking for a takedown but Bratton circles away.
Horrible takedown by Prime or perhaps it was just good defense by Bratton which made him look bad.
Prime clinches up with Bratton and pushes him back against the cage.
Prime has Bratton pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Bratton manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Prime throws a nice looking combination but Bratton bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Bratton manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Prime manages to get himself to full guard.

That was a close second round but I would say that Creed Bratton will probably get the nod.

Optimus Prime comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Prime has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
