Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Sim Heer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Rotton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rotton lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Rotton takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Rotton manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Heer on his heels. He'll look to pass Heer's guard now, I'm sure.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Rotton would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
