Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Clifton Paylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Murata Shougo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Paylor might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Who Next. Clifton Paylor has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Franklyn Lucas and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice jab there from Shougo.
Paylor throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Shougo scores a takedown into full mount!
Paylor is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Shougo putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!
Paylor tries to buck Shougo off but he can't manage it.
Paylor stops Shougo from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better.
Paylor really wants to buck Shougo off and get back to his feet.
Paylor knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Shougo on the ground.
Paylor defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Shougo.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Paylor is working to get back to half guard.
Shougo is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Paylor can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Shougo works his way to his opponent's back.
Paylor won't enjoy being in this position. Shougo looking for the choke. Oh... he's slipped the arm under the neck - Paylor is tapping - it's over boys! Shougo picks up the submission victory!
