Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Aleksander Emelianenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Doe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Emelianenko comes to the cage accompanied by Dale Oliver - Not A Stranger To (The) Danger. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doe thows a body shot but no joy.
Emelianenko ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Doe moves away.
Emelianenko misses with a combination
and Doe counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Emelianenko avoids the body shot from Doe.
Doe wants to clinch
and Emelianenko counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Emelianenko throws a shot to the body.
Emelianenko uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Doe.

Doe throws a hook but Emelianenko avoids it easily.
Doe throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Emelianenko counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
A looping hook to the body misses from Doe. Emelianenko does a little dance to reset his feet.

That was a close round but I would say that Aleksander Emelianenko will probably get the nod.
