Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Yama Mama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vladimir Harkonnen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Mama might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Darksiders - I am War. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Yama Mama!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

13 - 9 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Vladimir Harkonnen!
The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Konstantin Menshow and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mama moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Harkonnen takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Harkonnen crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Mama - the referee stops the clock and Harkonnen gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Mama. Harkonnen manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Mama misses with a head kick.
Mama jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Harkonnen blocks a head kick by Mama.
Mama throws a chopping leg kick but Harkonnen manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Harkonnen steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Mama.

Harkonnen shoots for a takedown but Mama saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Yama Mama has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vladimir Harkonnen.
Mama cracks Harkonnen with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Harkonnen fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Mama avoids it really well and circles away.

Mama feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Harkonnen's calf.

Harkonnen misses with a straight right.
Mama throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Mama walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Harkonnen checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Mama connects with a right hand. Harkonnen shakes it off.
Mama misses with a head kick.
Harkonnen stuns Mama with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Mama thuds his right hand into Harkonnen's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Harkonnen closes the distance and clinches.
Harkonnen lands with a right to the head.
Mama lands a left hand.

Harkonnen has a couple of punches blocked by Mama.
Harkonnen gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Mama regains guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Mama pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Harkonnen ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Mama's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Harkonnen connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Mama scrambles back to his feet.
Mama throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Mama stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Mama wants it to stay on the feet.
Mama misses with a looping right.
Mama throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Harkonnen scores with a takedown into Mama's guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Mama is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Harkonnen actively working from the bottom here.

Mama tries to pass the half guard into mount. Harkonnen knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Harkonnen moves into full guard.
Harkonnen had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Mama defends it easily.
Harkonnen looking for a guillotine here but Mama defends easily.

Harkonnen looking for a sweep. Not yet Harkonnen, not yet.
Harkonnen throws his legs up looking for a submission but Mama uses it to pass to side control.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Harkonnen is holding Mama down, trying to stall.
Harkonnen is looking for a sweep.

Harkonnen trying to control here but he's found himself mounted! Oh no!

Vladimir Harkonnen showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Harkonnen shoots in for a double leg but Mama sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Harkonnen postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Mama is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Harkonnen, into his guard.
Harkonnen takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Harkonnen escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Mama gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Mama decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Harkonnen, up you get!

Mama moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Mama throws a solid leg kick but Harkonnen takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Mama.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Mama fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Harkonnen.
Harkonnen displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Mama throws out the jab.
