Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matthew Phillip (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Richard Klein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Richard Klein will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Eliza Hachem and Bruno Hogan.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Phillip tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Klein was well out of range. Poor timing from Phillip.
Phillip defending well as Klein loads up on a big left hand.
Phillip is looking to clinch but Klein is avoiding it.
Klein throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Phillip sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Klein dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Phillip tries to close the distance and clinch but Klein swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Phillip on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Phillip rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Klein counters with a stiff right hand.

Phillip dives in and scores a takedown into Klein's guard.

Phillip drops back looking for a leg! Klein is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Klein manages to kick Phillip off! Phillip jumps back into Klein's guard.
Phillip passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Klein looks gassed!
Phillip has knee on belly and moves into mount.

The referee warns Klein that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Klein is in a horrible position here. Phillip smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Klein wants to try and get back to his feet.
Klein really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Phillip. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Phillip has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Phillip postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Klein looks a forlorn figure.
