Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Finny Gussa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zews Griggs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zews Griggs is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gussa slips under a jab.
Griggs tries to clinch up

and Gussa counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Griggs's guard now.
Gussa distracts Griggs with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Griggs looking for a guillotine here but Gussa defends easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gussa stops Griggs from standing up.

Gussa stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Griggs swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Gussa postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Gussa has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Griggs utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Gussa throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Griggs works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Gussa is working Griggs over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Griggs trying to control the position.
Gussa with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Griggs is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Griggs tries to stand but can't do so whilst Gussa controls his leg.

Griggs wants to work for an arm triangle but Gussa is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Gussa knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Griggs on the ground.
Griggs is keen to just control but Gussa is a slippery customer.
Griggs wants to stand up but Gussa has a hold of him and won't allow it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Griggs is trying to control. Gussa wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Griggs trying to mount his opponent but Gussa defends it.

Gussa drops an elbow to the side of Griggs's head.
Griggs on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Griggs wants to control but Gussa is keeping busy.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Griggs is rocked!
Gussa scores with a big shot! Griggs's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Griggs! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
