Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Brett Rodgers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ernst Blofeld (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Blofeld's choice of entrance music: Battlefield 1943. Ernst Blofeld has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rodgers swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Rodgers throws a jab but it's blocked by Blofeld.
A combination from Rodgers does no damage.
Blofeld fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Blofeld takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Blofeld shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Rodgers wants to get back to his feet but Blofeld is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Blofeld stands up from Rodgers's guard - Blofeld perhaps looking for a knockout.

Blofeld throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Rodgers's waist but Rodgers gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Blofeld off to one side.

Blofeld fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Rodgers avoids it really well and circles away.

Blofeld doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Blofeld throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Rodgers was covering up waiting for the punch and Blofeld finishes the takedown easily into guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Rodgers wants to get back to his feet but Blofeld passes into half guard.

Blofeld has an Americana. Rodgers didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Blofeld is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Blofeld hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
