The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Iceman drives through and clinches with Jabeer against the cage.
Iceman stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Jabeer working hard to break the clinch.
Iceman working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Iceman lands a body shot.

Iceman lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Iceman tries to stall but Jabeer uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Jabeer keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Iceman's efforts to push away.

Iceman is looking to control Jabeer's arms but Jabeer gets an underhook and turns him. Now Iceman has his back to the cage.

A frustrated look appears on Iceman's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Iceman is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Jabeer is keeping busy.
A right handed body shot lands from Iceman.

Jabeer keeps control of Iceman as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Iceman's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Jabeer closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Jabeer is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

We're going to have a standup here because Ahmed Jabeer wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Iceman has cracked Jabeer with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Iceman lands another huge swinging hook and Jabeer tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Jabeer, before Iceman can land any more shots!
