Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Shingo Takeda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Herbie Versmellon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Takeda comes to the cage accompanied by TAKEDA. Shingo Takeda has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Herbie Versmellon!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Ren Mimura and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Versmellon keeps the fight on the outside.
Versmellon avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Takeda throws a sloppy head kick and Versmellon moves out of range easily.
Takeda shoots in looking for a takedown but Versmellon manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Takeda's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Takeda looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Versmellon!
Versmellon takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Takeda has hold of Versmellon's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Versmellon manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Takeda content just to control the position here.
Versmellon wants to control but Takeda is having none of it.
Takeda has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Poor strikes thrown by Takeda there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Versmellon is working to get back to half guard.
Takeda has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Versmellon's face.
It looks like Herbie Versmellon has been cut.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Takeda cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Versmellon is rocked!
Takeda lands a big elbow - Versmellon is in trouble! More strikes from the mount and Versmellon is forced to tap out!
