Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Marcilo Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rod Keyes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marcilo Silva had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 186.8lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. On his way into the cage it seems that Marcilo Silva has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Marcilo Silva seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Keyes tries to bum rush Silva with a series of wild strikes but Silva uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Silva uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Keyes.
Silva will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Silva moves out of range as Keyes strikes.
Silva shoots in for a double leg but Keyes sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Keyes displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Silva.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Marcilo Silva. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Keyes scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
