The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doestevsky takes a jab right on the kisser.

Pickens rushes Doestevsky and presses him up against the cage.

Sloppy strikes from Pickens. Those never looked like landing.
Doestevsky shoots for a double leg takedown but Pickens sprawls well. He's pushed Doestevsky's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Nice takedown defense from Pickens. No joy for Doestevsky on that attempt.
Pickens misses with a wild combination.
Doestevsky tries to score a power double leg takedown but Pickens sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Doestevsky somewhat.

Pickens moves into the clinch.

Pickens breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Pickens jabs Doestevsky right on the nose. Doestevsky blinks but takes it well.

Doestevsky drops down looking for an ankle pick but Pickens pulls his leg out and moves away.
Doestevsky fails with a takedown attempt.
Doestevsky is breathing heavily.
Pickens fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Doestevsky has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Doestevsky shoots in for a double leg but Pickens sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

and Pickens comes in over the top with a devastating right hand! Doestevsky stumbles back against the cage, looking to regain his senses but Pickens is on him like rabid pit bull! Doestevsky slumps to the ground under a storm of punches and this fight is over!
