The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Conway looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Jones shoots in for a takedown but Conway shows good takedown defense.
Jones avoids a punch combination nicely.
Jones fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Jones gets a takedown into half guard.
Jones is pressing down on Conway's thigh, looking to free his foot. Conway is holding on for now.

Jones really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Conway. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Jones changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Conway tries to avoid it but Jones manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Conway to the ground. Conway escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Jones fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Conway manages to avoid it.
Jones tries to close the distance and clinch but Conway swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Conway looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Jones!

Conway is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Jones can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Conway fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Conway is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Jones is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Jones flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Conway anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Jones and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Conway slips an arm under Jones chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Conway has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Conway is squeezing on Jones like an anaconda would it's prey. Jones fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
