Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Boom Mills (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyler Gallows (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mills comes into the arena with finish him blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mills showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Gallows.
Mills slips a jab and a cross from Gallows.
Gallows shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Mills but Mills pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Mills closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Mills lands in his opponent's guard.
Mills controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Gallows wants to sweep but no luck.
Gallows manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Mills manages to get himself to full guard.

Gallows stands and steps away. Mills gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Gallows looks for the body kick but Mills saw that one coming.

Mills tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Gallows manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Mills shoots in for a double leg but Gallows sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Mills rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Gallows moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Mills shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Gallows as he jumps to the side.
Gallows misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Mills.

Gallows gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Gallows is trying to push Mills away but Mills has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Gallows pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Gallows lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Gallows misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Mills avoids the head kick by Gallows.
Gallows is looking to clinch.
Gallows throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Gallows is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Mills's half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Mills really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Gallows feints and as Mills raises his hands in defense, Gallows changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Gallows's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Mills wants to get back to his feet but Gallows is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Gallows avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Mills looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Gallows has picked Mills up and slammed him! Mills can't keep hold of the triangle and Gallows manages to pass to side control!

Gallows passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Mills!
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Gallows sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Let's hope that Gallows has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
It looks like Gallows might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Gallows tries to land a front kick but Mills steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
A right-left combo lands from Mills.
Gallows throws a head kick that misses.

Gallows clinches up with Mills and pushes him back against the cage.
Gallows prevents a takedown attempt there.
Mills is trying to drag Gallows to the mat but Gallows just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Gallows pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Mills shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Gallows pinned against the cage. Gallows gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Mills sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Mills on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Gallows manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Mills on his heels. He'll look to pass Mills's guard now, I'm sure.
Gallows throws and elbow that misses. Mills uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Gallows's guard. Nice move by Mills!
Mills wants to control from the top but Gallows keeps moving.

Mills looking to sit in guard and control but Gallows gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Gallows slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Well Gallows has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
