Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Michael Scofield (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jerome Carter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Scofield comes to the cage accompanied by Ballad of Worms. The crowd seem to be enjoying Carter's choice of entrance music: Ludacris-Move Bitch. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
13 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Michael Scofield!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

12 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jerome Carter!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Yves DeLean and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scofield shoots for a double leg takedown but Carter sprawls well. He's pushed Scofield's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Scofield misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Carter stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Carter wants it to stay on the feet.
Carter shoots in looking for a takedown. Scofield tries to sprawl out of it but Carter keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Scofield manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Michael Scofield has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jerome Carter.
Scofield dives in and scores a takedown into Carter's guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Carter looks like he's trying to stand up.
Scofield seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Carter does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Scofield is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Carter defends it well.
Scofield is trying to control the action in half guard but Carter is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Scofield works his way into side control.
Scofield is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Carter knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Carter reaches up around Scofield's neck trying to control. But Scofield takes advantage instantly and he's locked on an arm triangle! Big trouble for Carter! Oh that looks nasty! A human being's head is not meant to turn that color! Carter is out! He's gone limp! The ref steps in to break the fighters up and Scofield celebrates the victory with the fans!
