The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Raimi shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Odom but Odom pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Odom avoids the head kick by Raimi.
Raimi fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Raimi throws a jab when Odom was well out of range.
A head kick from Raimi lands but Odom takes it in his stride.

It looks like Blue Moon Odom has been cut.
Nice body kick there by Raimi.
Raimi throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Odom.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Raimi swings for the body but Odom moves out of range.
Raimi defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Odom.
Odom slaps away a takedown attempt from Raimi, before circling back to the center of the mat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Inti Raimi. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Odom avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Raimi dodges the punch combination from Odom.
Raimi tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Odom swivels and escapes.
Raimi is looking to clinch but Odom is avoiding it.

and Odom counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Odom.
Raimi is breathing heavily.
Raimi thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Odom must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Raimi has his foot on Odom's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Odom works his way back into a safe position though.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Odom postures up in Raimi's guard and throws a big left but Raimi blocks it.
Odom stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Raimi swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Raimi utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Odom is looking to work some ground and pound but Raimi has wrist control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Odom trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Raimi preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Raimi will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Odom wants to control from the top but Raimi keeps moving.

Raimi has his feet on Odom's thighs here. He's pushed Odom off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Odom screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
