Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Leonid Shcholkin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jordan Wright (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shcholkin comes to the cage accompanied by King Ring. Wright has chosen 3-6 mafia , its a fight as his entrance music. This should be fireworks!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wright dives in and grabs Shcholkin's left leg, looking for a takedown. Shcholkin pushes down on Wright's head and hops out.
Wright looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Shcholkin has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Shcholkin there as he acknowledges the shot.

Shcholkin feints a jab promting Wright to slip. Shcholkin then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Wright slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Shcholkin really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

and Shcholkin counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.

Wright is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

Wright tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Shcholkin throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Wright stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Wright wants it to stay on the feet.
Wright shoots in for a takedown but Shcholkin shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Shcholkin is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Wright can't fight it off and eventually Shcholkin manages to take the fight to the floor. Wright looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Shcholkin seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Wright for as long as he can get away with.

Shcholkin drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Shcholkin jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Wright is trying desperately to land a takedown but Shcholkin is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Wright.
