Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Zoro Moro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kato Hong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hong has chosen Nunchucks as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Moro.

Moro clinches up against the cage.
Hong jumps guard but Moro stands there with Hong around his waist. Hong gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Moro breaks the clinch.
Hong shoots in but no luck this time.
Hong swats away the attempt to clinch by Moro.

Moro closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Hong is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Moro is defending well for now.
Hong fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Zoro Moro has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kato Hong.

Hong is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Moro gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Hong tries to stall but Moro uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Hong fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Moro could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hong wants to lay and pray for a moment but Moro keeps working.

Hong decides to stand up, so the ref orders Moro to his feet.
Hong tries to close the distance and clinch but Moro swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Moro fails with an attempt to clinch.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Hong shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Moro tries to hold on but Hong pushes him away.
Hong controlling the pace for now.
Hong trying to control but he's not successful this time.

That's time! Moro's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Hong is looking to clinch but Moro is avoiding it.
Hong fails to land the takedown.
A nice leg kick lands there from Hong.
Hong tries to score a power double leg takedown but Moro sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Hong somewhat.
Hong tests Moro's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Zoro Moro is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Hong looks for a takedown but Moro sprawls well.
Zoro Moro has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kato Hong.
Hong tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Moro swivels and escapes.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Hong changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Moro tries to avoid it but Hong manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Moro to the ground. Moro escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Moro has managed to clinch.
Moro throws a knee to the head but misses.
Hong fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Moro tries to pull guard but Hong won't allow it.
Moro jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Hong walks away with a smile on his face. Moro gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Hong closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Moro did well to prevent Hong getting side control.

Hong is looking for a kimura but Moro is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Hong to get the leverage.
Moro looks like he's trying to stand up.
Moro is looking for a sweep. Hong is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Moro tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Hong manages to move to mount!

Hong trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Moro is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Hong is landing with some decent strikes but Moro is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Hong has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Moro's face.
Hong postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Moro looks a forlorn figure.

Kato Hong showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Hong drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
The referee asks Hong politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Hong prefers to stall for the moment though.
Check out the look on Hong's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Moro tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.
The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Hong's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.

Oooh a big shot gets through from Hong. Many more shots like that and the referee will have to think about stepping in!
Hong punishes Moro with strikes from the back mount.
Can Moro hold on?! Hong is landing more strikes to his hapless foe.
Moro is trying to remain composed but Hong is hammering down strikes to the side of his head.

Hong is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Moro knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Moro for a finish.
