PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Oovompi Laari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sergei Konstantinov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Konstantinov is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: The Internationale. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Laari fails with a takedown attempt.
Laari looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Konstantinov is fending him off so far but Laari persists. Nope, Konstantinov circles away and we're back to standing.

Laari gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!

Laari shoots in and bounces Konstantinov off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Laari tries to roll over but Konstantinov keeps him under control.

Laari swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Konstantinov is now in Laari's guard. A big mistake from Laari there, giving up the dominant position!

Sergei Konstantinov showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Laari has his foot on Konstantinov's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Konstantinov works his way back into a safe position though.
