Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hugh G Rection (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Barec Volevoi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Volevoi comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Nam ne strashen volk kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Hugh G Rection has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Volevoi misses with a hook
and Rection counters with a big head kick but Volevoi shrugs it off.
Volevoi fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Rection is out of range.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Rection, right into the meat.
Rection tries to clinch but Volevoi moves out of range.
A nice leg kick lands there from Rection.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Rection.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Volevoi can do anything to dispel that myth.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Rection throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Volevoi tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Rection is pressed up against the cage. Volevoi has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Rection down to the mat. Rection avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Rection fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Volevoi looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Volevoi's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

Volevoi slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That kick from Rection tenderised Volevoi's leg. Volevoi is trying to keep his angry face on.
Rection is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Rection connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Rection feints and then cracks Volevoi's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Volevoi down.
Rection lands with a kick to the temple. Volevoi shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Volevoi takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Rection fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Volevoi has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Volevoi takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
A decent looking cross lands there for Rection.

Rection wants to clinch.
Rection lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Volevoi is looking to break free of the clinch but Rection has double underhooks.
Rection lands an elbow just above Volevoi 's eye.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Volevoi changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Rection fights it off and pushes away nicely.
