Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Kendall Alves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ketsuno Anajo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Anajo comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Ghostbusters kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alves shoots in but Anajo avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Anajo tries to clinch but Alves is having none of it.

Alves lands with a nice body punch.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Anajo can do anything to dispel that myth.

Alves is looking to take a break and control but Anajo is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Anajo is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Alves uses his free foot to push down on Anajo's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Anajo.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
