Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tyson Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Randy Dawson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dawson is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Murders Come With Smiles. Randy Dawson has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.

Dawson gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Johnson to score an easy takedown into full guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Johnson is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Johnson postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Dawson is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Johnson, into his guard.

Dawson drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Johnson manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Dawson has Johnson in his guard.

Johnson is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Dawson is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Dawson has escaped and now he's on top!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Dawson makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
Johnson fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Dawson looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Johnson shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Dawson eats them both and turns towards Johnson to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

It looks like Randy Dawson has been cut.

Johnson closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Dawson did well to prevent Johnson getting side control.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Johnson maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Dawson could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Johnson has cracked it and Dawson is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Johnson!
