Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Roger Camilo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Pedrinho Matador!
The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Edson Gomes and Thiago Cunha.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Camilo misses with a head kick.
Camilo swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Camilo shoots in looking for a takedown but Matador manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Camilo's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Camilo shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Camilo seems to be working for a kimura but Matador defends the submission attempt.

Matador shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Camilo's guard.

Camilo is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Camilo looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Matador has picked Camilo up and slammed him! Camilo can't keep hold of the triangle and Matador manages to pass to side control!

Matador bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Camilo tries to escape but Matador is in control.
Camilo is looking to reverse the position.
Camilo is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Matador's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Roger Camilo overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Camilo is looking to improve his position.
Camilo trying to hold on to Matador's head to control him but Matador postures up.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Camilo is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Matador pulls his head out easily.

Camilo is trying desperately to improve position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Matador takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Camilo gets back to half guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!



Matador gets the takedown into side control.
Camilo is looking for a sweep.
Matador wants to lay and pray for a moment but Camilo keeps working.
You can see the frustration on Camilo's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Matador takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Camilo manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.

Camilo actively working from the bottom here.
Camilo is pressing down on Matador's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Camilo is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Camilo escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Matador gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Camilo keeping moving, preventing Matador from controlling successfully.

Camilo throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Matador escapes and throws Camilo's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Camilo manages to get back to half guard.

Camilo looking for submissions off his back.
Camilo tries to get to full guard but Matador has control of the leg.

Camilo is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Matador pulls his head out easily.
Matador seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Camilo does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

And that's the end of the fight!
Roger Camilo showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Camilo has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
