The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Noel with a poor takedown

and Shurk counters with a nice double leg into side control. Noel won't be happy with that.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Shurk is trying to move to mount but Noel reverses beautifully and ends up in Shurk's guard.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Shurk connects with a nice short shot to Noel's temple.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Noel is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Shurk's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Shurk's back!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

That's time! Shurk's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Noel fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Shurk manages to avoid it.
