Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ang Bak!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Gregory Folan and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bak gets tackled into the cage by Corleone. Corleone maintains the clinch.
A frustrated look appears on Corleone's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Corleone content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Corleone tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
Bak wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Corleone has him pressed against the cage.
Bak breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Ang Bak seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bak throws a front kick aimed at Corleone's knee but Corleone avoids it well.
Corleone sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Corleone shoots for a double leg takedown but Bak sprawls well. He's pushed Corleone's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Crunch! Bak slams his shin into Corleone's torso.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Bak scores with a head kick. Corleone tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.

The fight stays on the outside here - Corleone looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Bak feints and then cracks Corleone's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Corleone down.

Corleone wants to clinch up but Bak keeps it at a distance.
Corleone throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Bak's waist but Bak gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Corleone off to one side.

Bak throws a low kick, looking for Corleone's leg but Corleone calmly moves out of range.

Corleone tries to clinch up but Bak circles away and keeps his distance.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Bak, right into the meat.
Ang Bak is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Bak takes one on the button.
It looks like Ang Bak has been cut.
Corleone shoots in looking for a takedown but Bak manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Corleone's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Michael Corleone. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Corleone lands a big shot there that rocks Bak but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Corleone fails to move to back control.
Corleone connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Corleone jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Bak is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Bak and Corleone has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Corleone goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Bak has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Corleone but great work by Bak.

That was a close round but I would say that Michael Corleone will probably get the nod.

Bak stuffs the takedown attempt from Corleone. Corleone gets slowly back to his feet.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bak wants to hit a switch here but Corleone passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Bak there!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Corleone has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Bak's face.

Corleone has control of Bak's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Bak regains control of the situation pretty easily.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Corleone lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Corleone takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Bak circles away from the clinch attempt.
Corleone ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Bak moves away.

Corleone slips a jab and a cross from Bak.

Corleone is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Bak.
Corleone buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Corleone doesn't manage to clinch there - Bak circles away.
Corleone on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
