PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Hugh Hefner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Morgan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Hefner might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Puff The Magic Dragon. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hefner slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

and Hefner counters by clinching up.
Hefner lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
Morgan jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Hefner walks away with a smile on his face. Morgan gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
That kick from Hefner tenderised Morgan's leg. Morgan is trying to keep his angry face on.

Hefner moves into the clinch successfully.

Hefner is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Morgan can't fight it off and eventually Hefner manages to take the fight to the floor. Morgan looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Hefner not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Morgan is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
