Both these fighters are unbeaten, so somebody's 0 has got to go!Ej Resparzo could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Luke Johnson's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Johnson dives in and grabs Resparzo's left leg, looking for a takedown. Resparzo pushes down on Johnson's head and hops out.

Johnson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Resparzo not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Johnson postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
