Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jhonny Cage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jian Lieu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lieu has chosen "Da Rockwilder" by Method Man and Redman as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Jhonny Cage has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jhonny Cage!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jian Lieu!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Kenichi Hosakawa and Yukihiro Shimada.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cage takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Lieu's jab looks to have found its range, popping Cage under the eye.

It looks like Jhonny Cage has been cut.
Cage looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Lieu is fending him off so far but Cage persists. Nope, Lieu circles away and we're back to standing.
Cage takes a jab right on the kisser.

Oh, that's a big right hand from Lieu and Cage goes tumbling to the canvas! Lieu follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard.

Cage is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Cage is looking for a sweep. Lieu is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Oh Cage is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Cage looking to force a kimura from the bottom here. He's concentrating on that move too much though and Lieu pushes past his half guard into mount!
Cage seems to have got his legs back now.

Lieu stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.
Lieu lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Cage at a distance.
Lieu's jab looks to have found its range, popping Cage under the eye.
Cage fails with the takedown.
Lieu cracks Cage with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

That's one minute gone in the round.
The fighters circle momentarily. Lieu darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Jhonny Cage's cut is getting worse.
Lieu with a nice cross.
Lieu fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Lieu stuffs the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jhonny Cage. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Lieu cracks Cage with a big right hand and Cage goes down!

Cage is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Lieu defends well.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Cage wants to sweep here but Lieu controlling him for the moment.
Cage has a closed guard, preventing Lieu from standing up.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Cage looking to hit a scissor sweep but Lieu is one step ahead there.

Cage escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Lieu gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Lieu pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Cage is keeping the position for now.

Cage has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Lieu is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Cage.

Lieu decides to stand back up. Lieu steps back and let's Cage get back to his feet.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Lieu throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Cage on the side of the head.
Cage looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

Jhonny Cage's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Jian Lieu is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Cage really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Lieu darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Cage's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Lieu before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.
