Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ponttooni Jouni (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andre De La Rosa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Marco Blurström and Roosa Järviläinen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jouni throws a low kick, looking for De La Rosa's leg but De La Rosa calmly moves out of range.
De La Rosa stuffs the takedown attempt from Jouni. Jouni gets slowly back to his feet.
De La Rosa ducks under a wild hook from Jouni.
De La Rosa shoots for a takedown but Jouni saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Jouni throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Jouni pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
De La Rosa throws a good cross that connects.
Jouni swings for the body but De La Rosa moves out of range.
De La Rosa moves in looking to clinch but Jouni pushes him off.

De La Rosa feints and as Jouni raises his hands in defense, De La Rosa changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Jouni wants to stand up but De La Rosa is controlling him.
Jouni keeping moving, preventing De La Rosa from controlling successfully.
De La Rosa is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Jouni is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and De La Rosa dives into side control.

Jouni is looking to work his way out of this bad position but De La Rosa is controlling him well.
De La Rosa is staying tight to Jouni's torso, preventing him from escaping.

De La Rosa decides to take the fight back to the feet.
De La Rosa looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Jouni is fending him off so far but De La Rosa persists. Nope, Jouni circles away and we're back to standing.
De La Rosa tries to close the distance and clinch up but Jouni swats him away and circles back towards the center.
De La Rosa shoots for a double leg takedown but Jouni sprawls well. He's pushed De La Rosa's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Ponttooni Jouni has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andre De La Rosa.

De La Rosa closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Jouni tries to escape but De La Rosa is in control.
Jouni tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.
De La Rosa has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
De La Rosa just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.

De La Rosa is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Jouni with him. Jouni is trying to defend but De La Rosa has an arm under the chin now! Jouni grimaces and is forced to tap out!
