Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Rashad Evans!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Robert Douchet and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Evans misses.
Conner takes a swing at Evans's ribcage but misses.
Evans keeps the fight on the outside.
Evans lands with a nice body punch.
Evans moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.


It looks like Jake Conner has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Conner throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Evans tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Conner is in Evans's guard.

Evans has hold of one of Conner's legs. Conner is fighting the takedown attempt but Evans gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Conner is fighting off a takedown attempt but Evans is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Conner to the mat. Conner regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Conner might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Evans stands up over Conner, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Evans stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Conner swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Evans stands and steps away. Conner gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Jake Conner is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Evans lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Conner is looking to close the distance but Evans sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Conner crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Conner is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
