The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Priest lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Priest instigates a clinch.

Lewis pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Lewis shoots in and bounces Priest off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Lewis creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Priest sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Lewis goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Priest rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Lewis's guard! Nice work there by Priest!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Priest must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Lewis's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Lenny Lewis wasn't doing enough on the ground.

Lewis lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Priest circles away quickly and effectively.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Priest shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.

A looping hook to the body misses from Priest. Lewis does a little dance to reset his feet.

Lewis throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Priest works Lewis's body with a nice hook.

Lewis throws a right and a left that Priest avoids nicely.

Priest fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Lewis has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
