Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mark Dai!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jammy Stoney!
The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Daniel Cesar and Alexandre Firmino.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stoney wants to slow Dai down by chopping away at his legs.
Stoney with a jab.
Stoney misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Dai.
Stoney tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Dai was well out of range. Poor timing from Stoney.
Dai closes this distance looking for a takedown but Stoney circles away.
Mark Dai seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dai keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Stoney jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Dai shoots in but no luck this time.
Dai fails with an attempt to clinch.
Stoney thuds his right hand into Dai's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Dai avoids a kick to the body.
Jab by Stoney.
Stoney fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
No luck for Dai with that takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mark Dai. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Dai dives in and grabs Stoney's left leg, looking for a takedown. Stoney pushes down on Dai's head and hops out.
Dai shoots in but no luck this time.
Stoney takes a swing at Dai's ribcage but misses.

Dai bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Stoney is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Dai is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Stoney knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Stoney prevents Dai from moving into mount.

Dai tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Stoney sneaks back into half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Dai is working for a kimura but Stoney is defending it quite comfortably.
Dai tries to pass the half guard into mount. Stoney knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Dai is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Stoney defends it well.
Stoney is looking to improve his position.

Dai is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Stoney doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Dai.
Stoney wants to control but Dai is keeping busy and won't allow it.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Stoney tries to get to full guard but Dai has control of the leg.

Dai is trying for a kimura here. Stoney looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Dai wins by kimura!
