Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bam Bam Biggilo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mauricio Rua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rua shoots and misses

and Biggilo decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Rua's guard.

Biggilo has gone for a leg lock! Rua slips out almost immediately though and dives into Biggilo's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Rua wants to get up but he can't break Biggilo's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Rua stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Biggilo swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Rua is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Rua wants to control from the top but Biggilo keeps moving.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Biggilo swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Rua tries to close the distance and clinch up but Biggilo swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Biggilo throws a hook but Rua blocks it.

Rua shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Biggilo counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Rua!

Biggilo postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Rua looks a forlorn figure.
Biggilo drops a big elbow. That's hurt Rua! More shots from Biggilo and the ref steps in! The fight is over!
