These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Rummer closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Rummer lands in his opponent's guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Winnfield is looking to stand up but Rummer isn't so interested in that idea.
Rummer trying to control but Winnfield is working from the bottom.
Winnfield working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Rummer.
Rummer stands and throws Winnfield's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Winnfield is trying to buck Rummer off.

Rummer connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Winnfield some visible discomfort.

Winnfield is trying to control Rummer's posture but Rummer avoids it.
Rummer is chipping away with strikes.
Winnfield is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Rummer asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Rummer has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Rummer has hold of Winnfield's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Winnfield tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Rummer cranks the arm and Winnfield screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Winnfield, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
