The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dos Santos Preuss throws a lazy uppercut
and Valor counters with a nice body kick.
Dos Santos Preuss looks gassed!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Dos Santos Preuss avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Valor shoots in for a takedown but Dos Santos Preuss shows good takedown defense.
Valor feints a jab promting Dos Santos Preuss to slip. Valor then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Dos Santos Preuss slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

It looks like Junior Dos Santos Preuss has been cut.
Valor fails in his attempt to clinch.
Valor wants to clinch up but Dos Santos Preuss keeps it at a distance.

Valor fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Dos Santos Preuss to the ground. Valor is now in Dos Santos Preuss's guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
