Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Malkowski drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Malkowski trying to control the action but Rua is working from the bottom.
Rua is looking to reverse the position.
Rua is trying to buck Malkowski off.

Malkowski tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Malkowski has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Rua throwing some weak shots from the bottom that do no damage.
Rua manages to get back to half guard.

Rua is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Malkowski pulls his head out easily.
Rua is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Malkowski's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Malkowski's back!

Rua is working the ground and pound. Can Malkowski escape?
Malkowski is trapped and Rua is scoring with shots to the head and body.
Rua looking to soften up his opponent with punches.
Rua connects with a series of strikes and the referee is calling for Malkowski to escape the position.
Can Malkowski hold on?! Rua is landing more strikes to his hapless foe.
Rua scores with a nice shot to the head of his opponent. Malkowski is looking for a way out.
Rua punches Malkowski on the ear.
Rua is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Rua gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Rua gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Rua apologises and we restart here on the feet.

Malkowski shoots in and bounces Rua off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Rua pushes a forearm under Malkowski's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Malkowski is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
