Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Matt Huge (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shinji Yamaru (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yamaru has chosen Rising as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Taro Takaoka and Tatsuya Matsuyama.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Huge throws a nice looking combination but Yamaru bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Huge got a little sloppy there for a moment and Yamaru has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Huge has managed to get both his arms back between Yamaru's legs - danger averted.

Yamaru postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Huge is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Yamaru, into his guard.
Huge has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
