Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Chris Griffin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jayson Rodriguez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Griffin's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Sail by AWOLNATION. Rodriguez has chosen So Cold By Breaking Benjamin as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rodriguez slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Griffin fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Rodriguez avoids it really well and circles away.
Griffin fails with a takedown attempt.
Griffin has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Griffin there as he acknowledges the shot.
Griffin tries for a takedown but Rodriguez sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

and Rodriguez makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

and Rodriguez counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

and Rodriguez counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

and Rodriguez counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Griffin thinking.
Griffin shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Rodriguez counters with a series of strikes. Griffin will be more careful next time no doubt.
Griffin ducks right into an uppercut from Rodriguez.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Griffin is breathing heavily.
Griffin changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rodriguez tries to avoid it but Griffin manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rodriguez to the ground. Rodriguez escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Rodriguez sizes up Griffin with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Oh Griffin is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

and Rodriguez counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Rodriguez works Griffin's body with a nice hook.
Rodriguez scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Griffin doesn't seem bothered though.
Griffin tries to clinch but Rodriguez moves away
and Rodriguez counters with a left and a right that stings Griffin.
Rodriguez drops Griffin with a naaaaasty hook - Griffin is in real trouble here! Rodriguez dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
