Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Pharoah Parisyan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danilo Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Parisyan's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Illmerica. Santos is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: CXA - Contos do Crime. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parisyan works Santos's body with a nice hook.
Santos shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Parisyan eats them both and turns towards Santos to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Santos gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

It looks like Danilo Santos has been cut.
Santos tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Parisyan counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Danilo Santos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Santos misses with a left hand
and Parisyan cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Parisyan drops Santos with a right and a left! Parisyan comes rushing in but Santos regains his composure and manages to keep Parisyan in guard.
Parisyan is working Santos over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Santos can't keep his opponent in guard - Parisyan advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Parisyan seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Parisyan is trying to work for a kimura but Santos is defending well.

Parisyan is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Santos doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Parisyan.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Parisyan connects with a nice short shot to Santos's temple.
