The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Winston Howard and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kickamoocow moves in looking to clinch but Alkofer pushes him off.
Alkofer shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Kickamoocow but Kickamoocow pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Kickamoocow throws a right and a left that Alkofer avoids nicely.
The fight stays on the outside here - Alkofer looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Alkofer closes the distance and clinches up with Kickamoocow, looking for a takedown. Alkofer pushes Kickamoocow against the cage but Kickamoocow circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Alkofer tries to score a power double leg takedown but Kickamoocow sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Alkofer somewhat.

Alkofer throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kickamoocow's waist but Kickamoocow gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Alkofer off to one side.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Kickamoocow tries to close the distance and clinch but Alkofer swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Kickamoocow throws a shot from downtown. Alkofer moves away and avoids it.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Let's hope that Alkofer has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Alkofer sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Kickamoocow's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Alkofer is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Alkofer maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Kickamoocow could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Alkofer has cracked it and Kickamoocow is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Alkofer!
