Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tom Wopat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Grande Mucho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mucho has chosen You Dont Know - 50 Cent as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wopat slaps away a takedown attempt from Mucho, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Mucho moves to clinch but Wopat breaks away
and Wopat counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Mucho tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Wopat swivels and escapes.
Wopat lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Wopat scores with a jab to the head.

Mucho moves forwards but Wopat connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Tom Wopat has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Grande Mucho.
Wopat stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Wopat lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Mucho circles away quickly and effectively.
Wopat defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Mucho.
Mucho is trying desperately to land a takedown but Wopat is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Mucho.

Mucho tries to close the distance and clinch up but Wopat swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Mucho tries to score a power double leg takedown but Wopat sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Mucho somewhat.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Wopat swats away the attempt to clinch by Mucho.
