The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Doherty. No joy for Money on that attempt.
Doherty doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Money counters with a low kick, right behind Doherty 's knee.
Doherty tries to clinch up.
Doherty misses with a wild combination.
Money stuffs the takedown.
Doherty misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Money pushes Doherty away with a front kick.

Doherty gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Money shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Doherty is trying to defend but Money finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Money shoots for a takedown but Doherty saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Doherty tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Money has advanced to mount. Uh oh.

Money is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Doherty to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Doherty shrugs it off.
