Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Uriah Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Magomed Kharitonov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Uriah Jones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Magomed Kharitonov!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Yves DeLean and Elvis Blanc.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones takes a body punch but keeps moving.

Jones rushes Kharitonov and presses him up against the ropes.
Jones slows down the pace here.
Jones lands an elbow inside that Kharitonov shrugs off.

It looks like Magomed Kharitonov has been cut.
Jones pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the ropes.
Kharitonov tries to break the clinch but Jones is controlling the position.
Kharitonov jumps guard but Jones stands there with Kharitonov around his waist. Kharitonov gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Kharitonov tries to pull guard but Jones won't allow it.
Kharitonov tries to pull guard but Jones holds him up against the ropes and eventually Kharitonov drops back down to his feet.
Uriah Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Magomed Kharitonov.
Kharitonov takes an elbow to the forehead.
Jones is pushing Kharitonov up against the ropes, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Kharitonov misses with a hook from the clinch.
Kharitonov can't break the clinch.
A frustrated look appears on Kharitonov's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Kharitonov has had enough of the clinch but Jones keeps him there for the moment.

Kharitonov pulls Jones into guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Kharitonov is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Jones defends well.

Kharitonov is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Jones frees his head nicely. Oh but Kharitonov has switched to an armbar! Jones is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
