Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Owen Schmitt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anderson Minard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Schmitt comes to the cage accompanied by In God We Trust - Stryper. Minard has chosen I Against I as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Schmitt lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Schmitt lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Minard has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Minard and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Schmitt has hold of Minard's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Minard tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Schmitt cranks the arm and Minard screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Minard, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
