Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sherman Tank (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Juliano Lao Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Lao Jr's choice of entrance music: Kenny Loggins - Danger Zone. Sherman Tank has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lao Jr shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Tank pinned against the cage. Tank gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Tank decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Lao Jr tries to roll over but Tank keeps him under control.

and Tank counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Lao Jr!

Tank has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Lao Jr is proving hard to escape from.

Tank wants to get up but he can't break Lao Jr's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Lao Jr had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Tank is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Lao Jr Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Tank's back instead.

Lao Jr is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

Tank defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Lao Jr's arms.
Lao Jr is cranking Tank's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Tank! He's tightened the choke and Tank is tapping out!
