Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yukihiro Shimada and Hirohito Nitta.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hornblower lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Aoki circles away quickly and effectively.
Hornblower defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Aoki.
Hornblower throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Hornblower closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Aoki sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Hornblower thows a huge punch but Aoki dodges it nicely.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Hornblower is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Aoki makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Aoki.
Hornblower trying to control but Aoki is working from the bottom.

Aoki is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Hornblower is aware though and is defending well.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Aoki is looking to sinch up a triangle. Hornblower throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Aoki's body to avoid the submission. Aoki has instead reached around Hornblower's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Aoki arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
